About this siteThis site is a hobby site, initially created to be enthusiastic about various places around the world to go snowboarding and how to get the best out of those places. Unfortunately I don't live near the mountains so don't get to spend as much time as I would like snowboarding, or getting out into the backcountry and searching out some classic powder. It also became a place for sharing photos and videos without resorting to external third parties. The videos on this site are available for download. There are no attempts to force you to stream the video so that you have to be online. Finally, I am a "fan" of privacy hence the section on secure e-mail. Sending an email is like sending a postcard - anyone (within reason) can read the contents in transit. If you want to send me an e-mail, consider using S/MIME or PGP when doing so. |
Stuff...September 2008 - Website redesign and conversion to PHP to make maintenance easier for me. June 2008 - Another kitesurf trip to Egypt and some more photos uploaded, video to follow. May 2007 - Added some photos from a recent kite surfing trip to Hurghada in Egypt. November 2006 - Moved to the vpas.org.uk domain. 5 March 2005 - 2 weeks ago I went heliboarding in Russia. Full trip report in Snowboarding, Heliboard - Russia. 2 June 2003 - Updated the Mt Blanc trip report with a couple of minor corrections, plus some excellent photos taken by fellow shredder Jon Regan. |
